The hike up the volcano was amazing with great views. Pepe was extreme knowledgeable and helped e plain everything. We were afraid of the hanging bridges, but Pepe helped us through our fears. Loved it! Jan 23

We had a blast on this tour. All the guides were great, fun and definitely had thee pura vida attitude that is warm and infectious. I had an awesome bilingual group of ladies and the hosts were great to accommodate both languages. Lunch was okay, but so needed before we went zip lining in Granada. Highly recommended and worth the money!

Our tour to Nicaragua We loved our time in Leon and were very impressed with Troy Tours. We enjoyed all of our excursions, and had Joses. We enjoyed our time with him so much the first day on the kayaking tour of En Isla Juan Venado Las Peñitas that we were very excited the following day to discover that he would be our guide for volcano boarding on Cerro Negro. Our guide, Jose, spoke flawless English, and offered interesting information about the local vegetation, wildlife, and history. He is also an excellent photographer and helped us get some great pictures during both tours. He positioned us to enjoy phenomenal sunsets on both days. Although the photographs are fabulous, they do not do the memories justice. We loved our kayaking and beach time, and the climb to the top of Cerro Negro was well worth the effort for the thrilling volcano boarding on the way down. I would highly recommend Troy Tours to anyone traveling to Leon and Granada who enjoys active recreational tours. I would suggest that you ask for Jose if he is available. Great company and great value for amazing adventures.

A wonderful tour with experienced local guides. Ours knew which trails to take for the best viewing opportunities depending on time of day and weather conditions. Our guide spoke excellent English and was able to explain what animal creatures or plants we might encounter during the hike. We never felt rushed and timings were adapted to the group’s overall pace. All in all, in addition to the hikes and sightseeing, accommodations, meals, and transport were very well planned.
